Please take time to read the following information carefully in order to guarantee the best marathon emotions.

BEFORE THE START
The most important is to read the race regulations. NB! According to plans at the moment, Open Track will be held at Haanja Recreation and Sports Centre. Geographical and other location-dependent info is not updated in the race regulations but kept updated on this page here.
Rules for Open Track

Start materials
Handout of start materials takes place in the office of Club Tartu Maraton (Laulupeo Ave 25, Tartu) 17.-18.02 at 9.00-19:00. On the race day the materials are handed out at the start area (sports hall of Haanja school) starting at 8:30. The registration at the start areas is open also at the same time.

Transportation
On the morning of the Open Track event (Feb 19th), the special shuttle buses go from Tartu, Elva, Otepää and Võru to the start, and later back. The shuttle bus day ticket costs 4 euros. A place on the bus is only guaranteed when buying a ticket from pre-sale. Detailed bus information and time table is available here.

The most important crossings have direction signs to start areas and finish.
Parking in designated car parks at start/finish area is free; cars are directed to the parking lots in the order of fulfill.

START
The start of 40 km, 20 km, 10 km and Team Relay is at 10 in Haanja Ski Stadium, start gate will be open from 9.45.  Start for Open Track participants is open until 11.

In the start area it is possible to use the ski wax service by TOKO (paid service). 

For the participants starting at 10.00 the first lap is 11 km, next one(s) 9 km. For participants starting later (until 11:00) all the laps are 9 km long.

TIME KEEPING
Time keeping is performed with an electronic timing chip attached to your right ankle. It is not necessary to return the chip to organizers after finish.

FINISH
The finish on Haanja Ski Stadium is open until 16 p.m.

Diplomas
Printing of diplomas takes place in finish area at the secretariat in the sports hall of Haanja school. There it is also possible to get a stamp into Worldloppet passport and buy souvenirs.

Catering
In order to get catering in the finish area, please remember to take the food coupon that is added to your start materials.

Washing and dressing

Dressing is possible in the cafe building. Sauna and showers are also there and can be accessed using respective coupon found in start materials.
