On Saturday, 19th of August, according to the preliminary data 375 children took part of the children’s events of Tartu Inline Skating Marathon. 208 of them participated in the TILLUrace (500 meters), 167 of them in MINImarathon (3.4 kilometers).

In spite of the pre-thunder heat the faces of children were happy. Some of them went through the track alone, some of them with parents – the joy was eye-seen. The children were also entertained by Meie Mari pancakes.

All Club Tartu Maraton children’s races are free of charge, no winners are declared but all children receive a medal, a diploma and a bag of goods in the finish.

The 11th Tartu Inline Skating Marathon children’s races are part of the Tartu Marathon Mini Cube complex event and was the fourth event in the series. All children will complete the series once they have finished at least four events out of six during the season.

The main distances of the 11th Tartu Inline Skating Marathon will be held on Sunday, August 20th. There will be three courses: 10 km, 21 km and 42 km. In addition to the children’s races, the Inline Skating Sprint was also held today.
