44th Tartu Maraton programme will start on the 15th of January with celebrations of the FIS World Snow Day.
This family event will take place in Tähtvere sports park, Tartu. Participants will get a chance to improve their skiing skills, play different types of games and enjoy Limpa skischool’s birthday party.
Initially the World Snow Day event should’ve taken place alongside the 44th Tartu Maraton’s Official Training, but since the snow conditions aren’t that good there will only be the World Snow Day celebration on Sunday. Event is free for everybody and will last from 10 a.m to 15 p.m.
The 44th Tartu Maraton takes place on the 21st of February. 63 km and 31 km distances are available. A week before the main events, Open Track and Relay Marathon will take place. Registration for these events can be made on the Tartu Maraton homepage – www.tartumaraton.ee.
