Historical 1st Tartu MTB Marathon Relay was won by team Rattaklubi KoMo

Rattaklubi KoMo secured their place in history by winning the 1st Tartu MTB Marathon Relay. Team consisted of Peeter Tarvis, Peeter Pruus and Karl-Arnold Vendelin. They finished with a time of 2:38:43 on a 89km course which was cycled form Elva to Otepää – reverse Tartu Rattamaraton course.

KoMo was ahead from the start. At the first changeover Peeter Tarvis (KoMo) and Martin Laas (Rein Taaramäe Rattaklubi) came together but on the second leg European MTB champion Peeter Pruus pulled away with a great margin. He finished his leg over 5 minutes clear on eveyone else.

Karl-Arnold Vendelin in the third leg managed to secure the win. Veloplus Torq Pro A-Team was second with a time of 2:46:54 (Robi Niit, Viljar Kannimäe ja Taavi Kannimäe). Rein Taaramäe Rattaklubi was third with a time of 2:48:37 (Martin Laas, Reiko Rosenthal, Vahur Valvas).
