Best amateur cyclists will be crowned in the Tartu Street Race

From 6th until the 9th of August UEC European Road Championships will take place in Tartu, Estonia and this year there is also a special race for amateurs called Tartu Street Race.

Tartu Street Race takes place on the 8th of August and on the same 12,4km road race course as the main EC races. Difference is that participants are amateurs and they don’t have to have special license of national cycling federation to compete.

Thus cyclists who just have a love and passion for this sport and don’t earn money with cycling can have a taste of a professional cycling event.

A total of 5 laps (62km) will be completed and overlapped competitors are removed from the race.

Registration is open for everyone but as a measure of safety a limit of 200 cyclists has been set for the race.

Results for both women and men are considered separately and also in different age classes.

Registration for the Tartu Street Race is 25€ until the 1st of August. After that the price is 35€. Registration is open until the 7th of August or until the limit of 200 riders has been reached.
