Doping tests carried out in Tartu Maraton were negative
Tartu Maraton keeps on standing for healthy and fair sports. In co-operation with Estonian Anti-Doping Agency doping tests were carried out during the 43th Tartu Maraton held last month. First man, first woman and also skiers chosen randomly were tested. According to the confirmation letter sent by the doping agency all the tests were negative.
Healthy and fair sports is also highly valuated in all the other sport events organized by Club Tartu Maraton. For example in the 33rd Tartu Jooksumaraton (XC running and nordic walking) to be held on the 10th of May, the anti-doping rules of the IAAF are fully implemented. Due to this, the Estonian Anti-Doping Agency and other anti-doping organisations have got the right to carry out doping tests among all of the participants.
