Legendary Estonian road cycling event Tartu Rattaralli will take place on the 31st of May this year and first time in its 34-year history the course will take thousands of cyclist to the North of Tartu instead of South.
Vooremaa (Drumlin Land) gives a totally new look to the track of Tartu Rattaralli this year. „Finish and start will be at the same place as last year, in the city centre of Tartu. But after the start cyclists will head to Jõgeva and Laiuse and than back to Tartu. Short distance will take cyclists to Saadjärve and back to Tartu,“ said race director Indrek Kelk.
„New track will certainly give new emotions and introduce new and interesting landscape,“ said Kelk and added that the change of track was made because of road constructions in the Southern part of Tartu.
Distances of Tartu Rattaralli will also change a bit. Longer race will be 142km long instead of 135km and shorter will be 63km instead of 70km.
Registration for the 34th Tartu Rattaralli will be 50% cheaper until the 1st of May. This means that the prices at the moment are as following: for the 142km distance 35€ and for the 63km distance 25€.
