World Snow Day starts the childrens events program of the 43rd Tartu Maraton

World Snow Day in Estonia takes place on this Sunday in Otepää before the Otepää World Cup races.

FIS World Snow Day is also the start for the 43rd Tartu Maraton childrens program where children form all ages can participate in the cross country skiing races which will be skied on the legendary Tartu Maraton course. World Snow Day takes place near the Tehvandi ski stadium and starts at 10:30 pm.

Additionally to the cross-country skiing events, snow football will be played and a World Snow Day slalom course is available.

World Snow Day looks beyond the FIS membership to the wider snow sports community. It seeks to motivate children aged from 4-14 by encouraging all stakeholders to celebrate all things snow around the world simultaneously. In short, World Snow Day is the biggest day on snow all year.
