24-hour inline skating endurance race in Ostrava

From August 16th-17th for the first time in history a 12 and 24 hour endurance race for inline skaters will take place in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The track of the race, also used for World Inline Cup in June, is very popular among domestic as well as foreign skaters.

The start of both races will be given on Saturday at 2 p.m. The track is 3050 m long and 5 m wide. The goal of this competition is to achieve the greatest number of laps in the specified limit of 12 or 24 hours.

Skaters can compete in different categories – as individuals, pairs or teams. Several services, such as for example refreshments and medical aid are provided during the event.
