A hike to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Tartu Maraton will be organized by Club Tartu Maraton.
Tartu Maraton jubilee hike will be held on February 16th as a walking hike and is not a competition. Bicycles and other means of transportation are not allowed on the track. Nordic Walking poles are allowed. Dogs, child trolleys etc are not allowed for safety reasons.
Start at 11.00 in Otepää, on the Tehvandi ski stadium.
Finish in Kääriku Sports Center is open until 18.00.
Participants can choose from distances of 17 km and 27 km. Regardless of the choice made when registering to the hike, it is possible to change the chosen distance during the hike. Both walking and running are allowed.
The hike track goes along pedestrian roads and forest paths, but in some places along the vehicle roads (attention: regular traffic is not closed!).

Entry fee 25 €. 50% discount applies for participants aged 18 years and younger. When registering on the event day, entry fee is 35 € and no discounts apply.
Participation in the jubilee hike is free of charge for participants who have existing registration to 47th Tartu Maraton. In order to take part in the hike they have to confirm their participation by making a re-registration on their user account or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. This re-registration is free of charge.
Participants will get: number bib, timing chip, timing (only if the bib and chip are correctly worn from start to finish), diploma with result, services and catering in service points and finish, luggage transportation from start to finish, medical help if needed, washing facilities in finish.
Transportation. Rides on special shuttle buses Tartu – Otepää and Kääriku – Tartu are available for a fee, a day ticket costs 4 € from pre-sale and 6 € from the bus. A place on the bus is only guaranteed when buying a ticket from pre-sale.
Shuttle buses Kääriku – Otepää before the start and Otepää – Kääriku after the finish are free of charge.
Pre-sale of bus tickets takes place in the office of Club Tartu Maraton and other places that the organizer has communicated.

Tartu (parking lot of Vanemuine Theatre) => Otepää at 9.30
Kääriku => Otepää at 10.00/10.15/10.30
Kääriku => Tartu at 15.00/16.00/17.00/18.00
Kääriku => Otepää starting from 13.30
Parking in Otepää and Kääriku in designated parking lots is free of charge. Directions of traffic and parking officials should be followed.
