The main races of the 44th Tartu Maraton will be on the 25th and 26th of February in Tehvandi, Otepää. There will be given 3 starts in both of the days.
Saturday, February 25th:
- 9:00 - 34 km start START NUMBERS 701-1100
- 12.00 - 34 km start START NUMBERS 1101-1650
- 15.00 - 34 and 16 km start START NUMBERS 1651-2000 (34 km) and 8001-8300 (16 km)
Sunday, February 26th:
- 9:00 - 34 km start, FIS Worldloppet Cup START NUMBERS 1-700 and 10001-10015 (elite women)
- 11:00 - 34 km start START NUMBERS 2001-2650
- 14:00 - 34 and 16 km start START NUMBERS 2651- ... (34 km) and 8301- ... (16 km)
The start time is fixed for the FIS Worldoppet cup skiers (elite) + top 1000 of Tartu Maraton 2015: Sunday, February 26th at 9:00.
All the other skiers (both long and short distance) wiere divided between other starting times, 600 skiers in one startgroup. We will take participants' preferences into consideration.
The start groups of Tartu Maraton were formed based on the choice of the participans. Start numbers are visible at the start list.

Race centre and handing out the start numbers
The race centre is located in the Estonian National Museum (Muuseumi tee 2, Tartu) and opened on 24.02 at 12-19 / 25.02 at 10-19.
The skiers who start on Saturday can pick up the start numbers:
- Friday, 24.02 from the race centre
- Saturday, 25.02 ONLY in Tehvandi starting from 7:30
The skiers who start on Sunday can pick up the numbers:
- Friday and Saturday from the race centre
- Sunday from Tehvandi starting from 7:30
In the race centre there is a big ski expo. Also Toko ski waxing service available.

Parking in Tehvandi
Parking in Tehvandi is free of charge. Keep yourself updated with schemas and follow the instructions of the parking officers.
START AND FINISH AREA

TOKO waxing service is availabe (for a fee) in the start area.
Catering after the marathon is organized in a feeding tent, food coupon is inserted into the start envelope.
In the tent there is also Viking Line lounge, where everyone accompanying the participants can purchase food and drink. There is also a TV screen in the tent, where the live webcast of the marathon is broadcasted.
After the marathon it is possible to have a sauna or take a shower.

TRACK AND TIME KEEPING
The marathon is held on a 6 km artificial snow loop.
The track schema
Skiers of long distance (34 km) cover 5,5 laps, skiers of short distance (16 km) 2,5 laps.
One-time chip is used for time keeping. The chip has to be attached around the leg. No need to return the chip to the orgnaizers after the marathon.
There is one service point and one coffee point on the track.
Ski service is available in the service point.
The finishers of the longer distance (34 km) will get a long distance stamp into their Worldloppet passports; finishers of short distance (16 km) get a short distance stamp.
Age groups will not be awarded.
Both of the marathon days will be broadcasted live via www.tartumaraton.ee. Cast with ENG commentaries starts on Sunday at 8:45 (estonian time).
