Tartu Rattamaraton (or Tartu MTB Marathon), which takes place on the third Sunday of September, is the biggest mountain bike marathon in the Baltics and third biggest in the world. Last year a total of 8300 bikers participated in the Tartu Rattamaraton events. Day before the main events there are races for children.
